Ingredients (Serves 9–12)
For the Bars
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt

⅓ cup brown sugar
1½ tsp ground cinnamon
2 tbsp melted butter

1 cup powdered sugar
2–3 tbsp milk
½ tsp vanilla extract
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat the Oven
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2️⃣ Make the Batter
In a mixing bowl combine:
Melted butter
Brown sugar
Mix until smooth.
Add eggs and vanilla, whisking until fully combined.
Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until a soft batter forms.
3️⃣ Prepare the Cinnamon Layer
In a small bowl mix:
Brown sugar
Cinnamon
Melted butter
4️⃣ Assemble the Bars
Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
Drizzle the cinnamon mixture over the batter and gently swirl with a knife for a marbled effect.
5️⃣ Bake
Bake 25–30 minutes until the center is set and a toothpick comes out clean.
Allow the bars to cool completely.
6️⃣ Add the Glaze
Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bars.
7️⃣ Serve
Slice into squares and enjoy!
