Design of the sofa is lovely, and the fabric is great – we ordered the sample first and it’s exactly as expected which was ideal. Feels nice and looks nice too.
Delivery was awkward, all be it at no fault of the delivery drivers, they did their best. The box this sofa comes in is too large to fit through a standard door, so it had to be left on our driveway until we could unpack it, and bring it inside. I would really consider this when ordering because we were SO lucky it didn’t rain and there was somewhere for it to be left until we could get some help to move it into the house. I wasn’t best impressed that this was how the packaging had been designed, but we managed to get it in through the front door easily after taking it out of the packaging.
It’s HEAVY. The sofa had to go upstairs and it was awkward and difficult to move. Highly recommend taking the mattress out of the bed as well as taking the cushions off before trying to move it because the bed wanted to pop out every time it moved otherwise which was really unhelpful.
Once we got it to the right place and put it all back together (added the feet, put the mattress back in and the cushions back on) it looks great. Particularly like that the back is straight, so it fits really well against the wall. The sofa cushions are harder than expected when sat on, but comfortable enough for occasional use which was what this was planned for. The bed itself is absolutely fine, although the mattress will need to be replaced with something much better at some point because it’s quite springy and not the most comfortable (currently it’s wrapped in a duvet under a mattress protector and a sheet and that’s definitely helped).
Very easy to set up and put away, and the mechanism feels really secure which is great, it’s stable and while it creaks a little while being laid on, it’s no more than I would expect from a sofa bed.
I think 4 stars feels fair. It’s a really good looking sofa bed, I was just quite disappointed with the quality of the mattress for the price.
